Audio/Visual
Director, Bruce Davis
Our job is to enhance our worship experience with all the audio & visual aids that make communication possible.Training & equipment are sent on mission trips.Needs within classrooms, of special events, even the outdoor service are a part of our ministry.Tapes & CD’s of the worship service are made available to all who want them & they are mailed to the shut-ins.There are also hearing devices for those who are hearing challenged.Visual aids are made for the Praise song services.The audio for weddings & receptions are also part of this ministry.
BibleSchool
Director, Lorraine Hanson
Currently leader in a neighborhood Bible Study group.He will be taking over the mailing of the Discovery Bible Study Guides to people who have requested them.He is interested in finding or setting up more neighborhood Bible Study groups or individuals.Please call for more information.
Building & Grounds
Director, Mike Hagan
Volunteers are always welcome to weed the flowerbeds, weed eat as necessary and a lot of big & small projects.Regular maintenance of the building might include changing a light or fixing a leaky faucet.Bigger projects also become available.Your talents will not be wasted.
Community Services/Welfare

Answer calls from within & without the church – mostly help is wanted for food & rent. Plans for expanding our ministry are in the works – Watch the Bulletin!
Disaster Response

The goal is to prepare us as a church to respond during a disaster.With FEMA (Federal Emergency Managers Association) we are to set up & man distribution centers for supplies.Arden has been a receiving center for supplies to be transported to other areas where disaster hits.
Drama
Coordinator, Kevin Saye
As an extension of the worship experience, drama serves to enhance the worship activities.Large drama productions are done at Easter, Christmas & at some other special times during the year.Smaller projects for a vesper program or short skits may be used to illustrate a special point.In every activity worship is the constant guide to the writing, the directing & the presentations – for an audience of One.
Evangelism

Organizing & leading out in at least one Short Term Mission Trip per year, this is a group of people that want the excitement of the foreign mission to ignite us here at home.Working within our community to find ways to share the gospel in a practical way.The goal is to see every member involved in some type of ministry.
Flea Market for Missions Ministry

Canvas Flea Markets in the area for things to take on Mission trips. Ex: soap, shampoo, pencils, crayons, stuffed animals & small toys.
Health Ministries

Mailing Ministry

Men’s Ministry

All activities are designed to foster the fellowship of the men in our church.Activities include 2 pancake breakfasts, softball games, fall color hike, 2 bonfires, game nights & sponsoring with Women’s Ministry an event to raise money for charity sometime in the early spring.There is also a Men’s Retreat at Nosca Pines Ranch, usually at the end of March (all men are encouraged to come).

Prayer Ministry

Intercessory prayer for the requests on the prayer cards each week.The one who leads in prayer Sabbath morning prays each day of that week & all who want to be a part of the Intercessory Prayer group meet on Wednesday nights after the Bible Study time.This is a growing ministry & is open to ideas.
Prison Ministry

A great way to share God’s love with others is through Prison Ministries.The Dept. of Corrections allows volunteers to come in for this purpose & we are currently sharing in 4 area facilities.The program consists of Bible Study, Preaching, & music.The Goal is making friends for God.Join us sometime to see if this ministry is for you.There will be a Prison Ministry emphasize Sabbath each year.For further information call Jim Wetmore.
Puppet Ministry

Anyone 12 & older with a desire to share God’s love using puppets. Meet to practice every other Wednesday night (opposite Pathfinders). Performances at after school programs in public schools, at women’s shelters, The Encouraging Cup & wherever God gives an opening.Call for further information.
Religious Liberty

A newsletter is published 3 or 4 times a year to keep the church family up to date with what is happening to our liberties.Special handouts are given when an issue needs your letter to our congressman.There is an area Religious Liberty Rally held each year with special speakers who are knowledgeable about current religious liberty news.

Adventurers

Designed as a Christ-centered Cub Scout-type club, this is for ages 5-9 or grades K-4.Generally 2 meetings a month where a pledge & law are learned.Worship is a special part of each meeting.Each class has a special set of activities to complete.These activities include memorizing Bible verses, reading certain books, telling stories, crafts, earning Badges, camp outs, learning health principles & there is time for play.There is a special fun day at Nosca Pines Ranch each year.
Pathfinders

Designed as a Christ-centered Boy or Girl Scout-type club, this is for ages 10-14 or grades 5 – 8. Older teens are welcome to work as counselors. Starting in September we will meet every other Wednesday evening. There are service projects, crafts, honors to earn, marching, several camp outs & at least a conference-wide camporee every year with a nation-wide one every few years.
